Sick of playing those same predictable endless runner games set on boring old earth? Well Galactic Skater is here to take you up into the stratosphere, and have you do some fast-paced skating around the planets and stars! And after spending some time hopping around the Milky Way, I think more of these games should take place beyond the boundaries of our lonely planet, because it's clear from seeing Galactic Skater in action that outer space is easily where all of the variety in level design and fun gameplay has been hiding!

Birds are known for two things: singing and pooping. Turd Birds for iOS explores the dark side (rather, the chalky-white side) of avian life with an endless running game that's probably better described as an endless pooper. For a game that's all about excrement, Turd Birds surprisingly isn't caca. It doesn't advance the case for video games as an art form, but you will enjoy bombing the obnoxious humans scuttling below you.

Cannons have long been an exciting weapon. The act of shooting a giant ball into buildings captivates many, much in the same way people watch NASCAR for the crashes. The cannon isn't unknown to the gaming world, but Cannon Crasha hopes to shine new light on the oversized gun. The game takes the oversized weapon of old, throws in some tower defense elements, and adds a dash of chaos.

Welcome to Earth Blastron, where the robots killed their human creators, got bored, and decided to start killing each other. In this war of ennui, you'll take control of a young robot eager to start tallying his takedowns, but will you tire of automaton on automaton violence faster than these robots grew weary of prolicide?

What would Wheel of Fortune be like if it were a little more three dimensional? Try Wheel of Fortune: Cubed, a remixing of sorts that takes the letter- and clue-based elements from the game show and tosses them on a floating cube. There's no Pat, no Vanna, and no cheesy conversations between contestants, but there's still plenty of wordplay and wheel spinning!

How deep are your pockets? Hopefully deep enough to hide all the little toys and trinkets you'll have snagged by the end of this game! Tiny Thief is the second title published by Rovio Stars, after last month's exciting And thankfully, the gameplay and presentation are just as superb.

The sequel to Z2Live's rather popular arcade-style aerial combat game is here, and it's chock full of more dogfighting goodness. Things in MetalStorm: Aces are a little different this time around, mostly thanks to a much larger campaign, but there are still plenty of planes to fly (and shoot down). And so long as nobody's looking for a rich and meticulous flight simulation, there's all sorts of fun to be had.
