Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain review | GamesTM

Added: 11.09.2015 10:17 | 12 views | 0 comments

GamesTM: All the fears surrounding Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain have proven unfounded. The probability that this is Hideo Kojimas final entry to the series he created hasnt resulted in a half-baked effort. The change in playing style to a very large, very open world that allows you to take things on in a much more freeform style than previous games hasnt spoiled what made those earlier games so enthralling. In fact, what we have here with The Phantom Pain is Kojima Productions masterpiece: a swansong so astoundingly assured, rich in quality and absurdly fun to play that it has immediately raised the bar for every blockbuster game that follows.

Destiny Update 2.0 Has Me Hooked Again

Added: 11.09.2015 5:17 | 21 views | 0 comments

"When I got home from work yesterday, the Destiny icon was different. Update 2.0 had just finished installing, and the looming silhouette of Oryx, Hive god and Taken king, was peering out at me from behind the Destiny logo. My trophy completion for the game had dropped from 100% to 84% as the new Taken King trophies were added. It was then that I did a crazy thing. I ejected Metal Gear Solid V and put Destiny back into my PS4. The next few hours of my night were filled with a surge of nostalgia of the last year of the game, and exploring all of the new 2.0 update changes in complete awe." - PSLS

Is it Me, or Is Metal Gear Solid V an Incredibly Repetitive Game?

Added: 11.09.2015 4:19 | 1 views | 0 comments

OnlySP: I already have my protective shields up for the incoming onslaught of nasty comments that I will inevitably receive for writing this editorial, but I feel it needs to be said. Metal Gear Solid V, to me, is an incredibly repetitive game. That is not to say it is a bad game, because it is not. It really is a fantastic game and fully deserving of all the praise it has been receiving. At the same time, I feel many critics completely glossed over the repetitiveness of the game.
