Advanced War-meh, amirite? No, you're not. Shut up and sit down.
Call of Duty versus Battlefield might be the Greatest Showdown of All Time in the eyes of bean-counters, but the last few annual spats have proven distinctly lacking in shazam. In 2013, we looked on like amused bystanders at a duckfight as Call of Duty: Ghosts pitted its near-future, dog-assisted brand of slightly grubbier heroics against Battlefield 4's wave physics and Omar off The Wire. It wasn't a thrilling brawl, though it was much more entertaining than 2011's no-holds-barred thumb-wrestle between the accomplished but anodyne Battlefield 3 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

"Anyone wishing to level up twice as fast in Infinity Ward's latest shooter will want to take advantage of a new Call of Duty Ghosts Double XP Weekend that starts tomorrow."
New multiplayer maps said to include Departed, Mutiny and Pharaoh. Upcoming Call of Duty: Ghosts DLC may have been inadvertently revealed by publisher Activision.
