Galak-Z Reminds Us That Nostalgia Can Be A Force For Good | Kill Screen

KS: Theres something really disingenuous about people and corporations packing up our best memories of the good ol days and selling them back to us. Its a very Don Draper way of selling something weve essentially already bought. But sometimes a game, book, or show, can take us back to a good place in a way thats full of heart. A place where you get to fly around in a spaceship and blow up space aliens and space bugs and transform into a giant fighting robot. Thats a memory Id like to call home.

Everybody´s Gone To the Rapture review | Gamestyle

Added: 22.08.2015 18:18 | 7 views | 0 comments

GS: Everyone loves a good story. Even better are the great tales that are told with passion, and real verve. Everybodys Gone to the Rapture, from Brighton based development studio The Chinese Room, tells many tales. Ultimately its the tale of two recently married scientists, doctors Stephen Appleton, and Kate Collins. Its June 1984, and Stephen returns to his hometown, the fictional rural village of Yaughton, along with an apprehensive Kate to work for a year at Yaughtons observatory. Their project? An astronomical pattern they have been studying, with an alignment event due to occur sometime after their arrival.

Feist Review | Good Game

There is an undeniable charm to Feist, but without the gameplay to back it up, the platforming or puzzles aren't that interesting.
