Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris Hands-On Preview | Neoseeker

Neoseeker: Few video game characters can claim to be as iconic as Lara Croft, but that hasn't saved her from some pretty ill-fated reboots. In recent years, however, Crystal Dynamics managed to propel the tough-at-nails adventurer back into the spotlight with two successful yet drastically different revamps. Cue Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, a sequel of sorts to the 2010 action platformer Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light.

Alas Poor Warlock - your Destiny beta character won't transfer to the final game

Imported Guardians "would be confusing at best, broken at worst".
This morning I light a candle for the valiant Sir OXM of ETboy, Warlock First Class and the bane of Fallen Captains. Neither she (yes, she's a she - I like to mix things up a little, even when I'm obliged to use my Gamertag instead of a made-up name) nor your very own Guardian will make the trip from Destiny's beta to the final game, thanks to a number of small but significant tweaks.

The Sacred series has always been a little goofy. How goofy? Sacred 2: Fallen Angel featured an in-game concert from the metal band Blind Guardian complete with a monster-filled mosh pit. That silly tone is intact in Sacred 3, but substantial elements from the previous games havent made the cut. Whether you enjoy the remaining slices ultimately depends on whether you value arcade-style hack-and-slash action over open-world exploration.

Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris Preview (Strategy Informer)

Added: 31.07.2014 13:13 | 5 views | 0 comments

From Strategyinformer.com: "Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light surprised everyone by being actually rather good when it came out back in 2010. A throwback to classic couch co-op games, it let two players careen around inside a Mayan temple, smashing priceless artefacts (aren't you meant to be an archaeologist, Lara?), shooting various monsters in the head and hoovering up a bunch of power-ups and loot. It was straightforward, uncomplicated fun, and sequel Temple of Osiris is hoping to capture the same feel.".
