Square Enix is adapting their light gun arcade game Gunslinger Stratos into a PC title. Gunslinger Stratos Reloaded is a four on four team battling game, but there arent any cool interlocking light guns in this version. Players shoot each other in Gunslinger Stratos Reloaded using WASD and a mouse. Gunslinger Stratos Reloaded will launch in Japan sometime this year. A closed alpha test for the PC game is scheduled for February 6. The alpha test will be open to 8,000 players and check server load. You can register for a chance to join the alpha test, but youll need a Japan region Square Enix Members account to enter.

In a bit of Square Enix synergy, double-gun-blasting arcade action game Gunslinger Stratos 2 is set to be spiced up with Final Fantasy costumes. Previewed at Tokyo Game Show, the November campaign for the game which premiered in February will feature the likes of Tifa, Cloud, Kuja, Golbeza and Moogle outfits.

GameZone: "The Hunter is an interesting class choice since it allows for two completely opposing styles of play. The Gunslinger allows for devastating damage from afar, while the Bladedancer is a force to be reckoned with up-close. While each class isn't tied down to a single weapon, I personally would like to think the Hunter's prefered weapon types would be the Hand Cannon and Sniper Rifle, one for up close damage, and the other for going the distance."
