FUSE Hands-On Preview | Capsule Computers

Added: 16.05.2013 15:17 | 11 views | 0 comments

Luke Halliday writes: "Insomniac Games latest effort is the third-person shooter action game FUSE. We were recently able to sit down with the game at EA Australias offices and even got to interview Insomniac Games CEO Ted Price. So how does the game shape up? Is it meandering or is it mind-blowing? FUSE is a game that can be described in three simple words: Fluid, Frenetic, Fun. There is a certain sense of chaotic pleasure that comes with playing FUSE that is quite simply uncommon today. It mixes a number of genres and styles into what in anyone elses hands would be a mess, but in the hands of Insomniac Games FUSE is something special a diamond in the rough."

Fuse Hands-On by The Black Panel

The Black Panel writes: Releasing a brand new IP this late in the generation is not something that many developers seem willing to do. One developer is bucking that trend. That developer is Insomniac Games. The group behind PlayStation hits such as Ratchet and Clank and Resistance has a new game by the name of Fuse coming out very soon and for the first time in their history, it will be a multiplatform release. I was lucky enough to play quite a good chunk of the game at a recent preview event and I came away with a good idea of what to expect from the final product.

Hands-on with the Nokia Lumia 925

Added: 15.05.2013 14:44 | 10 views | 0 comments

Hands-on with the Nokia Lumia 925 At Nokia's media event in London yesterday, the Finnish firm may not have shown off the long-rumoured 41-megapixel Lumia EOS, but there's nonetheless something interesting about the handset that was unveiled, the Nokia Lumia 925. On the outside, it looks, well, very un-Lumia like. For fans of the range, that might be something of a worry. It appears Nokia has decided to put its own signature...

Hands-on with The Bureau: XCOM Declassified get all the intel here (games.on.net)

Added: 14.05.2013 6:17 | 12 views | 0 comments

Amidst the shadowy corridors and hushed, low-lit rooms of The Bureau: XCOM Declassifieds recent live-action teaser, theres a strong suggestion of secrets and subterfuge. The trailer appears to reveal that your role in 2K Marins upcoming third-person shooter is as a member of a department that does not officially exist, responding to threats that can never be openly acknowledged due to the panic they would cause across a 1960s America. Having recently played a level of The Bureau, it has become a little harder to reconcile this premise with the actual game

Hands-on with Remember Mes First Four Chapters [Capsule Computers]

Added: 13.05.2013 10:19 | 12 views | 0 comments

Zac Elawar from Capsule Computers wrote: "Remember to Live, Live to Remember the company slogan for Memorize; a corporation wearing the innocent façade of a service provider, the inventors of the Sensen brain implants that allow citizens of 2084s Neo-Paris to store and even share their memories. Under that guise is the reality; Memorize want control, and by having access to all of your memories, they have it. I would never give that sort of power to anyone, but I did give my time a substantial 4 hours of it to Remember Me (Xbox 360 version), just a few days ago. I played approximately 40-50% of the game 4 Chapters so Ive got a lot to tell you, without important spoilers of course. However, I will be touching upon certain events for context."

Hands-on with Lost Planet 3s First Chapter [Capsule Computers]

Added: 11.05.2013 12:18 | 9 views | 0 comments

Zac Elawar from Capsule Computers wrote: "Lost Planet 3 wasnt really on my radar before yesterday. I enjoyed the first, but never played the second. So its an understatement to say I was very pleasantly surprised by this game when I got my chance to go hands-on with its first chapter about an hour of gameplay. I have been hearing/reading the same trepidation from others, but hopefully I can accurately communicate what about Lost Planet 3 deserves your attention, and what may, nay should, change your minds. It is a prequel for those who are still unclear about its place in the series. This was a recent Xbox 360 build."

Pocket Gamer: Hands-on with Zombies Ate My Friends

Added: 11.05.2013 11:17 | 14 views | 0 comments

Pocket Gamer: If there's one thing more stale than a zombie, it's a zombie as a baddie in a book, film, television programme, or game. The undead have been done to death. It's even getting tricky to find a specific video gaming genre that hasn't had the undead liberally thrown at it in an attempt to exploit this - thankfully fading - zombie craze.
