Game of the Year #8 Valiant Hearts: The Great War
Added: 18.12.2014 20:11 | 3 views | 0 comments
Dan Naylor: "Not many video games have made me cry, but by god Valiant Hearts set me off. That finale there will be spoilers here where you think everything will be okay, but then its suddenly not. Its a sucker punch to the gut. Youve struggled to keep everyone alive, Karl is safe, youve resuscitated him three times, and hes reunited with his wife and son. It all seems to be okay. It should be okay."

| Review: Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD ReMIX - Destructoid
Added: 16.12.2014 9:11 | 8 views | 0 comments
Destructoid:
"The odd concept of melding a host of characters from Square Enixs seminal Final Fantasy series, Disneys perennial film favorites, and a cast of original personalities, seemed as though it was destined for failure. I mean, who would want to hear Donald Ducks honking lisp while sharing the screen with the likes of Cloud Strife or Sephiroth?
Being a Square fan, I had to try it out though, and not only did I fall in love with the games, but I rediscovered my love for the Disney franchises of my youth. Although it took almost four years for a sequel to be released, Kingdom Hearts was and is a series that has stuck with me. Then, when Kingdom Hearts II was released in early 2006, I bought it immediately."

GR:
"Fans of Kingdom Hearts who may not have had a PSP or Nintendo DS should be delighted by the Kingdom Hearts HD ReMIX titles, provided they own a PS3. The ReMIX series upgrades textures, character models, and the gameplay for the handheld titles contained within. For anyone who wants to play the core titles (and watch video content for some of the lesser ones), the HD ReMIXs are a fantastic buy with the additional content of the FINAL MIX versions of the playable games for greater challenges. For those who aren't already fans of the series, your interest in this will depend on your devotion to either Disney or Square Enix core titles. The rest of the review is intended for those who may not have played the games included in this compilation before."

GA:
"Ill give Square Enix props for doing some pretty stellar work with their HD ports on PS3. Both the Final Fantasy X/X-2 and Kingdom Hearts 1.5 releases were excellent, and thankfully so is the recent release of Kingdom Hearts 2.5 ReMIX. Not only that, but this release features my favorite in the series, the previously PSP only release of Birth by Sleep. Considering that there was no digital release of the game, I long assumed Id have to keep a PSP in working order just to enjoy the game via UMD, so having it included in this collection is enough to warrant the asking price of the game all by its lonesome. Of course you also get the first release of Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix in North America, which is a definite plus, along with a story only presentation of Kingdom Hearts Re:coded."
