Those of you who are waiting desperately for Game of Thrones season 5 can find comfort in the scintillating and bloody Telltale Game of Thrones series introductory episode titled Iron From Ice. This new series from the makers of The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us, and the very recent Tales From the Borderlands will have a six episode run versus the usual Telltale five, and so far has done a flawless job capturing the majesty and desolation from HBOs series based off of George R. R. Martins universe. The original characters in the game are tragic and memorable, and the use of the cast from the HBO series (including their original voices) is pulled off remarkably. Choices you make in the game are difficult as youre often faced with decisions that force you to confront harsh realities, and like the source material from which its based, characters will be profoundly affected. The game is a fitting homage to the television series while at the same time being completely original.

GameZone: "HBOs Game of Thrones is known for three things -- intense violence/gore, cut-throat dialogue, and boobs. The first episode of Telltales take on Game of Thrones offers two of the three -- and Id say they are two of the more important aspects to have. Though Im sure the boobs will come, the interesting characters and nail-biting situations that Telltale puts you in, in just the first episode alone, is a nice setup to the cruel series you are about to experience. Its not going to be easy for House Forrester -- as evidenced by the events of the first episode -- but I look forward to seeing how things unfold in the remaining five."
