BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea - Episode One and Two Reviewed | AusGamers

AusGamers has reviewed BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea - Episode One and Two and writes: With severe cuts made to Irrational Games, the studio behind the Bioshock franchise (which has been reported as an internal decision), Burial At Sea serves as a sort of swan song for the series in addition to being a brilliant addendum to Bioshock Infinite. The weaker aspects of that game, which were limited to repetitive and dragged out combat sequences, are virtually absent here thanks to the relatively short nature of Episode One and the stealth-based approach of Episode Two.

Bioshock Infinite: Burial at Sea Ep. 2 | Review - AWESOMEoutof10

AWESOMEoutof10's Adam DeMarco dives right back in to Rapture for Irrational Games' last piece of downloadable content for Bioshock Infinite. "Clocking in at roughly five-to-six hours, Episode Two has significantly more content than Episode One. Much like Infinite and Episode One before it, this instalment isnt perfect, but its flaws are outweighed by its strengths. For this reason I recommend Episode Two, as well as the Burial at Sea DLC at large, to fans of the series. If nothing else, long-time fans will want to experience Levines send-off to the storied franchise for themselves, and theres enough to like about Burial at Sea to make playing it a worthwhile endeavor."

BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea Episode 2 Review | Entertainment Buddha

Entertainment Buddha's Matt Heywood writes, "Irrational Games is no longer a functional game development studio, which is sad, but not a surprise considering the volatile state of the game development industry. Last year this studio created one of the most intriguing games of the year in BioShock Infinite, and now a year later it has put this games story to bed with the release of Burial at Sea Episode 2, the conclusion to the Burial at Sea DLC campaign."
