"Left Behind is not what I expected, but exactly what I wanted. Left Behind jumps between two singular stories: Ellies last day with her best friend Riley, three weeks before the beginning of Summer in the main story, and a scene with Ellie between the end of Fall and the beginning of Winter in the main story. Two relatively short days, directly linked to one another thematically, in which you exclusively play Ellie, and get a much better and more rounded understanding of her character."
Elizabeth's side of the Rapture-set story lands March 25th.
It's been some three months since we returned to Rapture in the first part of Bioshock Infinite's Burial at Sea DLC, and the action ended on an intriguing note. Don't worry, we're not going to spoil anything here, but it should please people to note that Irrational has finally given a release date for the second part this week.
AllThatsEpic: Booker Dewitt he is the protagonist of Irrational Games latest epic, Bioshock Infinite. He is a private investigator and, prior to his reluctant arrival in Columbia, a former Pinkerton agent. Booker is offered a deal to wipe away his gambling debts if he goes to Columbia and retrieves a girl imprisoned there. Over the course of the story, Booker reveals his past experiences, and shows his ability to make decisions independent of the player.
BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea Episode Two will be available for download across the world on March 25th, Irrational Games and 2K have announced.
This story-heavy piece of downloadable content will bring the Rapture-set narrative arc to a conclusion, and will be much longer than its prior episode. Irrational Games' Ken Levine confirmed the game's length on Twitter.
Burial at Sea Episode Two will be available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
New stealth-oriented gameplay seen through the eyes of Elizabeth.
The second episode of the BioShock Infinite DLC concludes the storyline of Burial at Sea, told through the eyes of new playable character Elizabeth. Players will have to tackle new stealth-oriented gameplay and utilise new weapons.
Burial at Sea is set in a version of Rapture built almost entirely from scratch in the BioShock Infinite game engine.
