BioShock Infinite Review (ITF Gaming)

Added: 04.04.2013 14:19 | 6 views | 0 comments

William Mabin from ITF Gaming writes: Kevin Levine, the writer and creative director of Irrational Games BioShock series is a man who has come under some scrutiny. Many people have slammed the recently released BioShock Infinite for being racist. Others have been completely awestruck by the graphics and storyline of the game. The question is whether the seemingly magical city of Columbia in which the game is set stays aloft in its miraculous heavenly delight, or if it threatens to sink to the bottom of the sea?

Bioshock Infinite Review | Gamersyndrome

"Bioshock Infinite has unequivocally managed to step out of the massive shadow cast by the first Bioshock, and has resoundingly planted its flag and claimed new ground with the creative innovations it has engineered. Irrational Games has become exceedingly masterful when it comes to making linear story driven games which present a sense of freedom not easily attained in open world games, and that is simply amazing. That the developers chose not to rest on their well established laurels but to dare to try new inventive things with Infinite really inspires within me great hope that the Bioshock series has a bright future ahead of it."

Without a doubt BioShock: Infinite is a great game, a must buy for anyone who enjoyed the previous BioShock games or wants something different in an FPS. 2K and Irrational Games have done so much with this series and although BioShock: Infinite takes the franschise in a slightly different direction, the game sticks with the dystopian theme

MTV- Review: Bioshock Infinite

Added: 04.04.2013 3:18 | 1 views | 0 comments

MTV:"Bioshock Infinite" is certainly the most literate game of this generation (or really, that I've had the chance to play), blending pop culture, turn of the 20th century history, and science fiction together into a mash of a competent first-person shooter. But as well-sourced the Irrational Games' Creative Director Ken Levine's vision is, and as clever as its twists are, this journey to the floating city of Columbia suffers the same big budget malady of interesting worlds undercut by the thin characters that populate them.

PSU.com writes: "We are officially in triple-A territory, folks. While the first few months of the year definitely had a couple of heavy hitters on display, February in particular was a bitter disappointment, with many games performing below our expectations (Dead Space 3, were looking at you, mate). However, March has brought about some of 2013s biggest games in the past 31 days, including one behemoth from a little-known developer called Irrational Games."

ZTGD | BioShock Infinite (PC) Review

Ken McKown writes: I still remember how engrossing it was the first time I stepped into Rapture. The world drew me into its lore, showcased its history and told a million tales purely with excellent design. The world of Columbia recaptures this magic, and once again displays why the team at Irrational Games demand respect as developers. Jumping into BioShock Infinite I wasnt sure how it could possibly capture me the same way the original game did. Then, once I finished the campaign I sat back with grin on my face, realizing that once again, I had been captivated by an amazing narrative within a video game; something I cant claim often enough.
