| Jackbox Party Pack review for Xbox One, PS4, PS3 - Gaming Age

GA:
"Here's the thing about the Jackbox Party Pack: I'm going to recommend it no matter what. Four of its five games could be the worst things ever, but because that fifth game is a new instalment of You Don't Know Jack and a good new instalment, to boot the compilation gets a pass from me.
Of course, while those other four games may not be the worst things ever, a couple of them aren't that great, either. Specifically, Lie Swatter and Word Spud are pretty dull. They may have certain aesthetic similarities to YDKJ, but that's basically all they have in common. Admittedly, I was only playing them with my wife, rather than in a room full of drunken partygoers, but at the same time, there wasn't much to them that would indicate they'd be better if you had more people."

| Dragon Age: Inquisition (PC) review - HonestGamers

HG:
"It seems universally accepted at this point that Dragon Age: Inquisition, for whatever its virtues may be, gets off to a poor start. After the protagonist is promoted from prisoner to commanding officer at a rate that would impress Jack Bauer, the matter at hand is to assemble a military movement capable of challenging the forces of blah-blah-whatever. There's plenty of story intrigue there amassing armies, snaking through politics and just generally finding unity in a world that's in disarray but it's also an actual mechanic. The "power" of your Inquisition is determined by a blunt numerical figure. You need power to unlock the story missions, and you gain it by doing anything that would benefit the Inquisition questing, in other words."

| Review: Boulder Jack

It seems like mobile game protagonists are always running from something, and in Boulder Jack's case it's an Indiana Jones-style rock that just doesn't know when to quit.
Unlike most games in the genre, Boulder Jack does mix things up a bit by putting the expected chase cam out in front - so that you're looking at Jack's face and can see the boulder behind him as it relentlessly gives chase - b...

"Jack Graal - 'Can violent games, which give us points for completing demoralizing tasks, be a great educational adventure? Will Angry Birds contribute to an increase in IQ of the population? Maybe yes, maybe no. But I can, without hesitation, say that games have always been a very good source of positive experience and useful knowledge.'"
