Amnesia: Memories Review | Rice Digital

Added: 08.09.2015 17:17 | 14 views | 0 comments

"The Amnesia game franchise has been a popular series since its first release in Japan in 2011 for the PlayStation Portable. The initial game was so well received that a fan disc called Amnesia Later was released in 2012, followed by a sequel titled Amnesia Crowd in 2013. Although the game was making waves in Japan, its presence in the EU and NA stayed well below the radar until the Amnesia anime release in 2013. Finally, on August 26 (25 for NA), 2015, the game reached its Western audience in the form of Amnesia: Memories, a visual novel available for both the PS Vita and the PC via Steam." - Rice Digital

A Complicated Trip To Japan Nobunagas Ambition: Sphere Of Influence Review | BagoGames

Added: 07.09.2015 18:17 | 13 views | 0 comments

Johnny from BagoGames writes: "I remember playing Nobunagas Ambition on the Super Nintendo when I was a kid. A friend warned me of the games complexity, but I refused to listen. I played and enjoyed it even though I could not grasp all of it. Between then and now, I did not have as much contact with the series as I wanted to, so naturally my first thought when booting up Nobunagas Ambition: Sphere of Influence was Wow, the series has really come a long way! As this thought rushed through my head, I had this notion in my mind that a Nobunagas Ambition game in this day and age would be easier to learn and appreciate now that Im older. I mean, game design has come a long way, right?"

Review: VS. Excitebike (Wii U eShop / NES) | Nintendo Life

Added: 06.09.2015 19:17 | 19 views | 0 comments

NL: It's undoubtedly a good thing when Nintendo starts releasing older titles on the eShop that are otherwise fairly difficult to find or play. But does VS. Excitebike, originally only released on the Famicom Disk System in Japan in 1988, offer enough extra content compared to the original to justify a purchase? As the core of the game is left intact, it depends on how much you would enjoy being able to save rudimentary custom tracks and race against your friends.

Hironobu Sakaguchi Clears the Air on Final Fantasy VI

Added: 05.09.2015 7:17 | 21 views | 0 comments

USGamer: So, when I had the opportunity to speak with Hironobu Sakaguchi about his mobile RPG Terra Battle earlier this year, I knew I'd have the chance to sneak in one question about Final Fantasy, at the very leastso I wanted to make it a good one. At some point in time, it was accepted as conventional wisdom that Final Fantasy VI met with disappointing sales in Japan and moderate success in America, most likely due to its dark themes and unconventional structure. It's a factoid I've heard tossed around plenty of times in the 20 years I've been reading about the game on the Internet, so I decided to go right to the source and ask Sakaguchi himself.
