While you may not think of Square Enix and Call of Duty in the same sentence, Square Enix has publishing Call of Duty games in Japan since Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Activison and Square Enixs partnership extended to bring over Blur, Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark and Skylanders: Spryos Adventure. This year, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia is handling Call of Duty: Black Ops III. The Japanese version will include an option for dubbed Japanese voices and subtitles on one disc. This is different from Square Enixs Call of Duty releases which are sold as two different versions, subtitled and dubbed.

Phantasy Star Online 2 is already available in Japan for PS Vita and PC, and in 2016, it'll get a PS4 version. The PS4 debut is expected within 2016. A playable demo will be at this year’s Tokyo Game Show, meaning I'll have to go play it while a booth attendant barks at me as if I have no idea how to play Phantasy Star Online. The Vita game was a free download and free to play, but it’s not yet specified whether that will change with PS4.

Travis Bruno of Capsule Computers writes: "Tamsoft and D3 Publisher have been producing a number of Onechanbara titles in Japan for over ten years but for almost everyone in the West, the first time we learned of the series, was when Onechanbara: Bikini Samurai Squad was released back in 2009. The title may have had plenty of faults at the time but gave players a title that embraced hyper-sexualized characters with plenty of violence and gore. Although a couple titles have been skipped since then, Onechanbara Z2: Chaos has now been released in North America by XSEED but the question is, has this series managed to evolve well enough over the years while still sticking true to the heavy fan-service that many remember the original game for?"

Released this past March in Japan as a Vita exclusive, Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth will be coming to North America and Europe in 2016 for both Vita and PS4. The Vita version will be digital only, because no one has a Vita and making physical games for it is seen as a huge risk. The PS4 version will be physical and digital.
