TSA: Puzzle Dragons is a phenomenon. The mobile-centric free-to-play puzzler has been downloaded more than 32 million times in Japan alone and has made developer GungHo Online Entertainment over a billion dollars just in the last year. Now, just as Nintendo are about to enter the mobile space with their own franchises, theyve collaborated with GungHo to bring the immensely popular puzzler in the opposite direction to the 3DS. Street Gangs Review | Nintendo Life

Added: 10.05.2015 10:17 | 11 views | 0 comments

NL: Originally released in Japan for Nintendo Famicom, classic beat 'em up 'Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari' was then heavily localised for its eventual release in the US; background artwork was amended to look more 'western' (for example, rooftop tiling designs and mailboxes were changed) plus all location names were updated. Character sprites were redrawn and renamed too; instead of representing Japanese student gangs in school uniform, all the bad guys became tough looking Grease rejects wearing jeans and t-shirts. The name was also altered to River City Ransom before subsequently being re-named again for PAL regions to Street Gangs, which is the version now available for the European Wii U Virtual Console (and the subject of this review). Phew.
