Hatoful Boyfriend Review | GameSpew

Added: 30.07.2015 12:18 | 6 views | 0 comments

Kim at GameSpew writers: "If theres one thing you can be sure of today, its that youve never played a game quite like Hatoful Boyfriend. Created by manga artist Mao Hato in 2011, its an outrageously crazy experience in the way that only Japanese video game creators can pull off and quite frankly its all the better for it. And now, after a long wait, its finally available for Playstation 4 and Vita owners in the west to get their grubby little mitts on. Hatoful Boyfriend tells the story of you, a female human student, as you start a term at your new school, St. PigeoNation a school especially for intelligent birds. Thats right: birds, of the avian variety. Youre a human girl, and this girl chronicles your interactions and relationships with your feathery friends."

Lost Dimension review for PS Vita, PS3 - Gaming Age

Added: 29.07.2015 22:21 | 5 views | 0 comments

Gaming Age: There's very little in Lost Dimension that could accurately be described as unique or new. Gameplay-wise, the first thing that springs to mind is Valkyria Chronicles, what with the strategy and the turn-based combat. From a social perspective, if the way each chapter ends with a "judgment" sequence doesn't make you think of Danganronpa, then the fact the characters are a collection of archetypes and stock characters probably will. And, of course, the whole plot is built around the standard "students battling an invading demon from another galaxy" trope, which brings to mind seemingly every Japanese RPG of every stripe in existence. Basically, if Lost Dimension were being graded on its originality, its outlook would be pretty bleak.
