Dying Light Preview (GameWatcher)

Added: 27.12.2014 3:11 | 14 views | 0 comments

From GameWatcher.com: "Once upon a time there was a game called Dead Island. It was made by Techland, those guys behind the excellent Call of Juarez games, and it was an ambitious free-roaming co-operative zombie RPG. Some might say too ambitious, since it was riddled with bugs, not much fun in single-player and a little repetitious in design. After making a swift follow-up in Riptide the licence passed to Deep Silver, who assigned Dead Island 2 to Yager and will be out sometime next year, whereas Techland began crafting their own similar-but-different follow-up which is due in January 2015. I think this is the first time Ive seen a spiritual successor and a sequel to a franchise turn up in the same year."

Dying Light is Techland's Second Chance at Zombie Horror | TGH

Added: 16.08.2014 19:13 | 22 views | 0 comments

Vaughn from TheGamersHub writes: "You may recognise the name Techland. Its the studio behind Ubisofts Call of Juarez series, and more recently its generally associated with Deep Silvers divisive hit Dead Island, and therefore known by many for perhaps not delivering the finest products to market. So, it was with a rather heavy dose of skepticism that I sat down to play through a preview section of their newest release Dying Light at this years Gamescom. While on paper it doesnt sound all that different its a first-person zombie survival game where you can hack the zombies to pieces in open-world level design theres something about Dying Light that just completely outshines its spiritual predecessor."

News: You really should buy Narco Terror for £1.68

Added: 01.07.2014 12:06 | 42 views | 0 comments

Even if Bratterz doesn't believe me.

The twin stick shooter has been discounted as part of this week's Xbox 360 Deals with Gold, joining Ubisoft titles Call of Juarez: The Gunslinger, From Dust, Flashback and more all for a couple of quid.

Narco Terror is obviously the highlight at £1.68, but From Dust and Juarez both seem well worth picking up for £2.49, too. Alternatively, you can grab recent release Child of Light for a reduced £8.03, or if you're on Xbox One, Thief's available for £23.99.

There are other deals available, too, but remember: to take advantage of them you'll need to be an Xbox Live...
