Fantasy Strategy Legends of Fire Steel Regrouping for Second Try

Added: 29.07.2015 16:18 | 8 views | 0 comments

Serena Nelson writes: "That said, Legends of Fire Steel is not going to become vaporware. Boomzap will be regrouping and returning to Kickstarter sometime in the near future. They don't have a set date yet, but they did announce that backers of the current campaign will be treated to beta copies of the game for feedback. With no strings attached. Anyone who goes in on the second one at any amount will also be given instant access to the current build."

Red Ash Gets a Playable Prototype as Kickstarter Nears Its End

Added: 29.07.2015 7:18 | 0 views | 0 comments

The Red Ash Kickstarter is in its final days and in need of a helping hand to reach its goal. A strong start could only impart so much momentum, and the earliness of the campaign in the games development cycle didnt help. Ive already put my opinion out there once, though, so no need to retread old ground. The short version is that, with five days left on the clock and 40% of the goal left to go, its time to go big. A full gameplay demo would be nice but isnt really possible, though, so instead a playable mock-up has been released to see the characters in action.

Experience the Struggles Of Starfleet Command in Interstellaria - Cliqist

Added: 29.07.2015 1:18 | 0 views | 0 comments

Serena Nelson writes: "I'm not a huge fan of space simulators, but when I caught Interstellaria on Kickstarter the pitch brought back fond memories of playing a similar game called SunDog on my Atari ST. Unfortunately, the nostalgia factor only goes so far in deciding if a game is worth playing or not. I'm not saying that it's a bad game, and it's a great one for fans of the genre, but sometimes taking the plunge with rose-tinted glasses can mean a less than stellar experience."

No Pineapple Left Behind Alpha Now Available for Free

Added: 28.07.2015 10:18 | 0 views | 0 comments

Marcus Estrada writes: "When No Pineapple Left Behind hit Kickstarter I was pretty darn excited. It looked like a very neat, satirical look at the U.S. school system via a strategy game where you teach classes full of pineapples. Unfortunately, by the end of the campaign they only managed to raise about half of the $35,000 goal."

The 7th Guest Returns To Kickstarter via The 13th Doll

Added: 28.07.2015 10:18 | 45 views | 0 comments

Marcus Estrada writes: "The 7th Guest was one heck of a point and click adventure game from the early 90s. With its then gorgeous pre-rendered 3D backdrops and FMV actors, it proved a popular title which spawned the sequel, The 11th Hour. Unfortunately, over the past few years, developer Trilobyte Games have been unable to successfully crowdfund a third game in the series. That's part of what makes the story of The 13th Doll surprising. You see, it's not designed by the original team or even the IP holder of The 7th Guest."

What Kickstarter Video Game Campaigns Launched July 19 - 25

Added: 28.07.2015 7:18 | 9 views | 0 comments

Greg Micek writes: "Every week we take a brief look at all of the Kickstarter campaigns that launched in the previous week. This isn't to say that all of these projects are worth your hard earned cash, but with any luck having all of them in one place will make it easier to educate yourself on the projects you'd like to back, and which ones to run from. This week there were 34 to choose from."
