While there are still many more for me to nab from the vast history of gaming, Kickstarter is making it even harder with their own modern devices. Case in point: The GameKid recently hit Kickstarter. This tremendously GameBoy-inspired device features a Rasberry Pi inside, meaning you'll potentially have access to a wealth of emulated titles, as well as Rasberry Pi exclusives. It's because of that unique concept and visual design that I immediately recalled that the game was originally brought to Kickstarter back in April. It failed back then, and has since returned for another go at funding. There's not a thing wrong with that. After all, many great campaigns were finally funded thanks to a second launch. The issue, as I see it, is a simple lack of transparency. At no point does this current campaign mention their previous attempt at crowdfunding or what they learned from that failure."

With that said, it is a bit hard for me to look at a Kickstarter that launched recently with a completely open mind. The game is Secluded by Dark Day Interactive. The team are asking for an approximately $2,852 in funding to create a space-based first-person survival horror experience. Sounds fantastic! So why aren't I immediately on board?"
