From the review, "[Michael Martin is] a Barbarian Queen. Im like a walking tank with so many hit points. I have ADHD so I move around fast. I also suffer from stereo blindness so I cant see in 3D. What does that even mean? Each of Rogue Legacys characters are children with a humorous mix of genetic traits that makes me wonder about this whole family tree."

Developed originally by Cellar Door Games, Rogue Legacy makes its journey to the Vita via Abstraction Games (the ones behind Hotline Miami) as a 2D platformer with rogue-like elements thrown in.
Rogue Legacys story is told via diary entries placed randomly throughout the castle, and basically begins like this; someone has slain the king and it is your job to find the cure and save his life - the only catch being that if you die you must choose one of your three children to take your place. Each child has different traits that can be funny, helpful, or bad for your progress and after choosing your child you must then must venture forth into an unknown castle that randomly generates its layout.

By Justin Massongill: "In a shocking upset, last months top PS4 title on PlayStation Store was Injustice: Gods Among Us, beating out even the mighty The Last of Us Remastered (hello, Photo Mode!) Im assuming the fact that Injustice was $8.40 for PS Plus members had something to do with that. Moving on, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes rounded out PS4s top three, while Rogue Legacy and Oddworld: New n Tasty made strong debuts"

GS Writes: Rogue Legacy is one of the best indie titles now available on PSN. The game is a really involving experience which combines classic platform games features with light roguelike elements The high difficulty level of the game may put off some gamers, but the gold system mitigates the problem, allowing even gamers who are not too good at it to proceed further with some patience . The randomness of the experience, with procedurally generated stages and characters, can be an issue for some gamers but theres no denying that Rogue Legacy is an experience like any other. Highly recommended to fans of the Castlevania series and to those who enjoy challenging but rewarding experiences."
