Added: 19.08.2015 15:18 | 19 views | 0 comments

MP writes: Mario Kart 8 has been out on Wii U for a little over a year now. Our office is still obsessed. This is not an exaggeration; aside from weekends there is not a single day that goes by where Mario Kart 8 isn't played in Moviepilot. We absolutely adore everything that Nintendo has managed to accomplish with this game, from its great characters, awesome DLC, down to the recent addition of 200cc! But is it the greatest Mario Kart game that has ever been released? Super Mario Kart, released in 1992 for the SNES, kickstarted a long and profitable relationship between karting and home consoles. Nintendo have developed this brand to perfection, as they have done with Super Mario Brothers and The Legend of Zelda, to the extent where we really feel that Mario Kart 8 is the greatest installment the franchise has ever seen.

Glitch Cat - When all is said and done, Legend of Kay Anniversary is an average remaster of an obscure cult classic. While the gameplay is solid and the revamped visuals do a decent job at making the game playable on todays systems, the shoddy camera and terrible mini-maps keep the game from being a memorable experience. A couple of tweaks here and there could have made the game a much more pleasant ride, but as it stands, Legend of Kay Anniversary isnt as improved as it aimed to be

Chris from BagoGames writes: Back during the PlayStation 1 and 2 eras of gaming, turn based RPGs were common place and brought classics such as Final Fantasy VII, The Legend of Dragoon, and Persona 4 to name a few. However, as time has gone on, and the focus has shifted to more action-RPG combat styles, the turn based genre has faded into the niche consciousness of gaming. Fairy Fencer F is one of those turn based games you should check out if you are a fan of the genre.

Nintendo's Dismissal of Chris Pranger Highlights Issues With Company Culture

Added: 18.08.2015 4:18 | 12 views | 0 comments

Nintendo Life If I were fired from making games at Nintendo, I would feel cataclysmically heartbroken in such a way that I might never recover. This is the imagined story I have just now constructed in my head, but for former Nintendo localization editor Chris Pranger, this heartache is more than a pained hypothetical. Pranger was recently fired this week for speaking interpersonally about company policy on a podcast. Previously he had worked on such games Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Star Fox Zero, and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD.
