Of course, this writer had to look up those bits of information because when Legend of Kay Anniversary was announced for the Wii U, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360, I had no clue what game it was an actual remaster of. Thus, you can imagine that entering into the game, I had limited expectations of the game. All I knew was that it was of an era when 3D platformers were quite common, a golden age of gaming for me, the PS2 generation of gaming hardware. This made diving into Legend of Kay Anniversary an exciting proposition. Was my excitement rewarded?"

The base experience can last around 15 hours, but if you choose to take on side quests or collect crystals (which unlock concept art, movies, and music) you could clock almost 20 hours. Unfortunately, many of those hours will be wasted in tedium or frustration, or both. While Legend of Kay is improved technically, its production values, mechanics, and camera are still stuck in an uncomfortable past."

Dealspwn: The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes is coming October 23rd and is available to preorder for just £27.95 on Nintendo 3DS, saving a few quid over the competition. This multiplayer focussed title allows three players, each controlling a different coloured Link to work together in a new Zelda adventure. Via online or local networks, players will take on bosses, solve puzzles and stack on top of each other to reach higher areas or perform special attacks. It could be a little dumbed-down compared to usual Zelda titles, but the co-op gameplay could be a good match for the series.
