Justin Celani writes: Remaster is the hot word this generation, and we have seen some favorable and not so favorable releases. If you had to ask me what games Id love to see remastered, Ill be honest that Legend of Kay isnt one of them. Thats not to say it doesnt deserve it though, as like myself, Im sure many didnt get a chance to experience this title during its PS2 days. But is it worth it now?

At twelve hours or over it is certainly a worthwhile purchase and there is enough variety and entertainment to carry that play length. The game follows tried and tested formulas providing a well rounded experience where the flaws are small enough that they can be overlooked. It has great personality with likeable characters and a smattering of pop culture references for those geeky enough to recognise them. Some areas of the game are quite challenging (or maybe Im inept) so with the occasional swearing aside the game is suitable for both adults and children.
