True Player Gear Shows Off New Image of Totem VR Headset

VRFocus - True Player Gear has revealed a new image of its upcoming virtual reality (VR) headset, the Totem. The image, seen below, provides a first look at a 3D printed version of the device, which is set to work with PC, Mac and Linux as well as the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The company also revealed that good progress was being made on the headset's development, with pre-order plans currently being finalised.

VRFocus - Indie developer Crytivo Games has revealed that it is immensely interested in support for the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) headset and other such devices for its upcoming planet management title, The Universim. The developer revealed as much on the page for its recently-launched Kickstarter campaign, which hopes to raise $320,000 USD before 24th May 2014 to help fund the development of the PC, Mac and Linux title.

The developers managed to raise $37,622 USD for the virtual reality (VR) compatible title, which had been hoping to raise $30,000 from the start. This means that the title will come to PC, Mac and Linux with Oculus Rift support as well as Microsofts Xbox One, though it didnt quite reach its $40,000 stretch goal for a PlayStation 4 edition.
