Digital PC games distributor GOG.com has been teasing that a new publisher was coming to the platform, with an announcement planned to be made tomorrow, October 28. Before that could happen, the new partnership with Disney (the owner of Lucasfilm) will bring "about" 30 LucasArts games to the site. It didn't indicate which other games were part of the deal, but did say we can expect to see the rest in the months ahead.

Randal's Monday Preview | GameGrin

Added: 24.10.2014 8:12 | 10 views | 0 comments

Randal's Monday is a point-and-click adventure much like the classic LucasArts games - Day of the Tentacle, Monkey Island and so forth. However, it has taken cues from more recent games, as the opening cutscene could shame some of Hideo Kojima's best with Metal Gear Solid 4-sized lengths. At least these are somewhat interactive, if not as emotional.

Verse Publications have entered into a partnership with Mastertronic to bring its point-and-click adventure game, The Shopkeeper, to PC this October via Steam. The developers describe The Shopkeeper as a fusion between "the Twilight Zone, classic LucasArts adventures, and the Antiques Roadshow". It's a short-form multi-path game, designed for several play-throughs. The game looks like a graphic novel in style, drawn by comic artist James Brothwell, with the narrative being co-written by director Tom De Roeck and veteran RPG designer James Wallis.

Another Battlefront - the tragedy of Star Wars: First Assault

Added: 06.10.2014 17:06 | 7 views | 0 comments

Meet one of the most ambitious shooters LucasArts never made.
The dropship barrels out of the clouds like a grenade flying into a foxhole, sweeping across the rooftops of a city contorted by laser fire. You're able to take a few potshots at distant foes before the craft touches down in a square. Helmets glinting in the light of Tatooine's twin suns, the Imperial squad sprints round a corner to where a trio of wounded Stormtroopers hug the sides of a floating bomb as it wallows towards the Rebel lines.

Zombies Ate My Neighbors: The Game That Popped My Zombie Cherry

Added: 06.10.2014 11:12 | 10 views | 0 comments

Zombies, Zombie, Zombies. The undead have taken over, movies, TV shows, and video games alike. Given, each story has its own version of what a zombie is but none the less we still love it them anyway. While playing games like Black Ops or Dead Island I find myself thinking of the first time I can recall playing a game with zombies. For me that game is Zombies Ate My Neighbors. Zombies Ate My Neighbors released on July 19th, 1993. This 55 leveled action packed zombie filled rescue mission of a game was originally developed by LucasArts and was published by Konami. Oh how awesome was this game, yea it had zombies but there was so much more. This was truly every sci-fi kids wet dream. Villains ranging from aliens to vampires and an armory of the finest weaponry like Uzi squirt guns and soda cans this game really had it all.
