Mario Luigi: Dream Team Review: Sweet dreams | GamerTell

Added: 17.08.2013 18:18 | 38 views | 0 comments

From the review, "Mario Luigi: Dream Teams story is pretty standard fare. The brothers, along with many residents of the mushroom kingdom, voluntarily take a trip to a place called Pillo Island after they receive a direct invitation. While there, they find themselves in the middle of re-emerging battle between the Pillo folk and and a bat king named Atasma. At some point in the past, the Pillo fought to imprison Atasma in a place called the Dreamworld. However, as a final act of evilness, Atasma shattered an artifact known as the Dark Stone moments before he was imprisoned. The shards of the Darkstone effectively turned the Pillo into stone pillows. Once Mario and Luigi learn of the situation and Atasmas escape, they have no choice but to stop him (and Bowser that shows up out of nowhere) from taking over the real world. All things considered, its a pretty basic plot."

Mario and Luigi: Dream Team (3DS) Review | Marooners' Rock

Aron writes: "Dreams are usually pretty weird, right? One time I dreamed about riding to school on an inflatable cat instead of the school bus and the cat had eye lasers and instead of stopping at stop signs the inflatable cat bus just vaporized them with its eye lasers. When I got to school, the teachers were scarecrows and my fellow students were ears of corn that were covered in candy corn instead of actual corn, and then when I was in math class the teacher turned up the thermostat REALLY high and everyones candy corn kernels began to pop just like regular popcorn. In Mario and Luigi: Dream Team we learn that our favorite green-clad plumbers dreams are simpler than ours, but no less weird. Luigi dreams of being a tree, of creating mighty vortexes of wind with his sneezes, and cloning himself. Mario and his gang will be traveling to the world of Luigis subconscious and use his dreamy new abilities to do battle and try to keep the people stranded in the mundane waking world...

Added: 14.08.2013 2:18 | 13 views | 0 comments

On Piillo Island, exploring the real world is only half of the adventure. During dream world sequences, Luigis imagination (or Luigination) bridges the real and dream worlds through objects called Luiginary Works. Press the R button followed by the B button to initiate a Luiginary Work. This causes Dreamy Luigi to become one with the dream world, allowing you to perform a wide range of actions.

Mario Luigi: Dream Team review: a dream of time gone by | Shack News

Added: 10.08.2013 10:18 | 11 views | 0 comments

Shack News: "The Mario Luigi series has always based itself around the clever hook of controlling both brothers at once, but it has also made a point of introducing new ideas--be it time travel or diving inside Bowser. Mario Luigi: Dream Team, by comparison, hews a little closer to the formula, producing a game that is altogether likable but in severe need of both a shake-up and some trimming."
