Next time you wonder who's the top dog in all of Nintendo Land (the universe, not the game), remember this video from Youtube user OmegaTyrant4792. Watching Luigi defeat all of these level nine computer players has me mesmerized. Bowser, Peach, Captain Falcon, even Jiggly Puff falls to Luigi's might and pacifism. I mean, you expect Jiggly Puff but Captain Falcon too?

Mario Kart And Mario Bros. Wii U Coming In "Next Several Months"

Added: 24.04.2013 19:32 | 13 views | 0 comments

Nintendo expects to sell nine million consoles in the next 12 months. You might think that's impossible, but there's a reason for the confidence.

A press release by Nintendo states the following:
During the next several months, Nintendo expects to launch new titles in the Mario Kart (Wii U), Super Mario Bros. (Wii U), Wii Fit (Wii U), Pikmin (Wii U), The Legend of Zelda (Wii U and Nintendo 3DS), Mario & Luigi (Nintendo 3DS) and PokeÄ‚Ĺ‚mon (Nintendo 3DS) franchises. The Legend of Zelda (Wii U) presumably refers to the Wind Waker HD remake which was confirmed to be coming this year during its announcement. However, there are two games that stand out from the pack: Mario Kart and Super Mario Bros. Mario Kart for Wii U previously had no expected release date, and Nintendo has told fans to wait—agonizingly—until E3 for more details. As far as Super Mario Bros. goes, chances are it's referring to a 3D Mario since New Super Mario Bros. U is already on the console.

Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon Review | Paste

Paste: "The best parts of Dark Moon feel like an interactive silent filmthe bumbling yet capable Luigi exploring on his own, fearing and falling for a mansions subtle tricksand are complemented by superb animation and audio work. When the game interrupts that structure with banal instructional calls from E. Gadd or ends it abruptly once youve met a missions parameters, it creates a pace of play thats convenient (save problems notwithstanding) at the expense of some wanted control. Even so, the sheer amount of detail and creativity in Dark Moons iterative design makes experiencing another Luigi caper more than worth the small inconveniences."

Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon Review - Gametactics

Added: 23.04.2013 1:18 | 44 views | 0 comments

While Nintendos penchant for going back to the well of tried and true franchises has worn thin for many a gamer, its hard to fault their decision in bringing Luigi back to the forefront to the point of declaring it the Year of Luigi even. In this case, we revisit the neglected green plumbers lone starring role in a sequel to his 2001 GameCube title, Luigis Mansion. The 3DS version, subtitled Dark Moon, is obviously trying to reclaim the magic of its predecessor, which incidentally managed to be the most successful title on a relatively disappointing system. Its hard to argue that they havent, but while it overcomes some of the shortcomings of the original, theres still some flaws that linger and serve to keep Luigi in his brothers shadow as far as gaming perfection is concerned. Find out more when Michael LeParc of Gametactics reviews Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon for the 3DS.

Mario Luigi: Dream Team Preview | GameRevolution

Game Revolution: "Mario Luigi: Dream Team was my favorite of the games I saw at the 3DS preview event this Wednesday. Thankfully, it also had the longest demo I've ever played at an event. "The game is set on the seemingly abandoned Pi'illo island, where soon after arriving for a vacation with the Mario Bros., Princess Peach disappears. (Of course.) The game moves between two separate areas of gameplay: Pi'illo Island locations with traditional Mario Luigi gameplay, and Luigi's dream world where Mario fights alone but is granted special powers and assistance by Luigi's imagination, or "Luigination.""
