Metal Gear Online 3 Hands-On Preview (PSLS)

Added: 20.09.2015 9:17 | 9 views | 0 comments

"On the surface, its a third-person team deathmatch, but with the fine tuning Metal Gear has become known for, it becomes a lot more than that. Naturally, theres the basic idea that killing people who arent on your team is a good thing to do. Verily. If you find yourself in a tight spot without time to be tactical, yes, indeed, shoot the bad guys and hope you get em, because thats good for your team. "But a kill puts a bounty on your head; it makes you worth more to the other team. Youll become a higher priority target, because if someone kills you, his/her team reaps greater reward. So that sounds like getting punished for being too awesome, right? But shut up, Im not done." -PSLS

Review: Reign of Bullets (PC) | Digitally Downloaded

Added: 20.09.2015 8:17 | 77 views | 0 comments

DD: Despite what other reviews are saying, Reign of Bullets is more Metal Slug than Borderlands. To describe the game in the most blunt fashion as possible: it gets right what most scrolling shooters struggle at, with light-hearted humour, cartoony graphics, simple yet addictive upgrading system, and excellent production values. This game feels like an over-enthusiastic friend at a party who's more dedicated to making the occasion more exciting and memorable for you than himself. Said friend wants you to enjoy to the max - which is pretty much what Reign of Bullets shoots for and ultimately succeeds in.

Metal Gear Solid's failure spectrum

Tom Francis: "Being an outsider to the Metal Gear series, I was only cautiously optimistic about V. All I heard about the last one was that it had 90-minute cut-scenes. I watched enough of one of them on YouTube to determine that it was not my cup of tea. Of V, Id seen some fun stuff in videos, but I was half-assuming the story would barge in and ruin it."

IGN: "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is one of those rare games that pays such close attention to the details of its world, characters, and systems, that you can be 100 hours deep and still discover new, exciting ways to play. The details in Metal Gear Solid 5 range from silly easter eggs and pop culture references to gameplay tricks that cater to player creativity and prove just how much effort went into the creation of this incredibly acclaimed installment in the Metal Gear Solid series."
