An age old rivalry that has existed between gamers apart from the usual war between consoles and PC is of the preferred medium of interface to interact and play games with. Consoles have been popular with the consumers with its portable and handy controller setup whereas PCs have always used the Keyboard/Mouse (herein referred to as KB/M) setup even apart from the gaming scene for its input interface. 10-15 years ago we couldn't have imagined PCs being used with any other combination to get around, right now we also have touch interface to interact with PCs but still not as popular as the KB/M combo.

DHGF: As a whole, Montagues Mount is a game that was promoted as a survival horror game and ended up being the exact opposite. There is no constant fear of death, nor is there anything to fear for that matter. Its a first person adventure game that has only a few unique puzzles and some interesting diversions in the form of relic hunting. The game is incredibly short and ends on a cliffhanger quite unexpectedly, creating more questions than answers. Montagues Mount is also a very nice looking game, but its hard to enjoy the scenery when the colors fade, the characters vision blurs or when there is too much shadow casting from the local flora. The only major thing I can take away from Montagues Mount is the game being used as a medium for understanding the mind of a man slowly descending into madness, but that isnt even presented clearly enough. Montagues Mount had promise but unfortunately left me incredibly disappointed.

Glitch Cat - In the end, Castle of Illusion starring Mickey Mouse is a fantastic remake of the 1990s classic, bringing forth nice visuals, solid gameplay and a healthy amount of challenge. Unfortunately though, its a bit on the short side, ending sooner than you would imagine. If youre into Disney and love platformers, or want to revisit the titular castle, then you might want to take Mickeys latest adventure for a spin.
