Sony Corporation Should Improve PSN Service To Compete With Xbox Live In The Long Run

Added: 17.07.2015 8:18 | 8 views | 0 comments

Playstation Network has always been inferior to the Xbox Live service. It made sense last generation since Xbox Live required a monthly fee for online multiplayer whereas the PSN was free for all users. However, this time around, with similar monthly fees, the PSN has no excuse but to achieve the level of Xbox Lives quality. Ever since the PS4 launched, PSN has been subject to numerous online issues, issues ranging from matchmaking to slow downloads for digital games. The PSN is not new to such problems, in the PS3 era; the networking service went down for a period of one month leading to huge unrest among PS3 owners. Microsoft has managed to offer the best online experience for the past two generations. This time around, the company introduced dedicated servers for all of its games to ensure top quality matchmaking. Online games on the Xbox One take little to no time in matchmaking. Moreover, stuff like parties and game downloads are much faster than its rival.

Xbox head Phil Spencer understands what gaming is really about and doesnt get the fanboy thing, and Julius Kivimaki has been convicted and somehow avoided jail time for more than 50,000 instances of cyber crime, including the infamous Christmas DDoS of both PlayStation Network and Xbox Live. In addition, QueenQ has been playing as much Batman: Arkham Knight as she can.
