PSGamer: On paper, Abyss Odyssey should be a modern day gaming masterpiece containing all of the hot button mechanics that would usually spell out success. Procedural generation? Check. Rogue-lite game play? Yes. RPG-like levelling? Of course. All of these positives should amount to an enjoyable game. Only they dont.
