The mobile hit gets bundled together with new content for its first outing on the Wii U. The game shows some early promise but can't quite make it to the finish line in a speedy fashion. Still a decent amount of fun to be found.

SQUIDS Odyssey Wii U Launch Trailer (HD)

Added: 23.05.2014 13:36 | 2 views | 0 comments

Squids Odyssey is a unique mix of action strategy and RPG: build your team of Squid heroes for epic turn-based battles against corrupted crabs and shrimps! Steev and the rest of the Squids are in danger! An infectious black ooze is corrupting their world, and this band of unlikely heroes needs to fight back to save their kingdom! Squids Odyssey is not just about gorgeous cartoon art, jaunty music and humorous storytelling: the battles provide a deep challenge as strategy and skill are required to use the environment, the Squids' strengths and enemies' weaknesses to lead your team to victory! Recruit a unique team of Squids in four different classes -- shooters, scouts, troopers and healers -- and customize your party with ability-boosting helmets. Battle your way through ancient citadels, exotic coral reefs and Asian temples to save your underwater world -- and if you're after a tougher challenge, dive deep into Pro Mode! • Fight to save your underwater kingdom in an adventure that mixes action strategy with RPG • Put together a unique team of Squids and enhance its abilities with barmy helmets • Win turn-based battles by using the environment to your advantage • Take on a tougher challenge and push your Squids to the limit in Pro Mode

Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl Review | Esperino

Added: 23.05.2014 1:14 | 9 views | 0 comments

Etrian Odyssey is an old soul at heart. First hitting the Nintendo DS back in 2007, Atlus introduced first person dungeon exploration and blank canvas characters to the handheld device with much success. Etrian Odyssey II: Heroes of Lagaard (2008) and Etrian Odyssey III: The Drowned City (2010) followed, but was never made available in Australia. More recently Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan came to the Nintendo 3DS, reminding fans what they had been missing out on. Legends of the Titan garnered decent enough success to pave the way for Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl, the latest adventure to the Etrian Odyssey franchise, but isn't quite like the past titles in the series.

Inkblot Slingshot- Squids Odyssey Review I Hey Poor Player

Added: 22.05.2014 22:14 | 7 views | 0 comments

Hey Poor Player's Jay Petrequin writes- "Todays adventure takes us far under the sea. No, not to Spongebob Squarepants. I can see you all getting your jokes ready already, so calm down. No, the game here is not sponges, but rather squids. These tentacled denizens of the deep can be anywhere from adorable to terrifying, and Squids Odyssey spends its time swaddled snugly in the former. But this Wii U/3DS title is more than just a cute face, as it turns out, and is actually quite a surprisingly complex mass of tentacles and ink. Put on your scuba gear and make sure its been an hour since you ate last, and lets dive into the waters of Squids Odyssey."
