Kingdom Rush Origins | Hardcore Droid

Hardcore Droid: "The gameplay is rock solid. It is more solid than the biceps of somebody who throws houses into pits of fire for a living. It is almost as awesome as being somebody who throws houses into pits of fire for a living. It really is good: its not just that it adds in things like heroes and melee units to direct about the place with judicious tapping, its that it uses these and other more familiar tower defense elements to create a system that responds with amazing precision to the players decisions."

Music for the Mind: Rayman Legends

Added: 02.12.2014 23:18 | 16 views | 0 comments

Mike Bowerman of Gaming Rebellion Writes: "Music plays a very important role in many different mediums. It brings people together to dance, it can make films even more impactful, it can speak to us in specific moments throughout our lives; the list of contributions runs long. When music is made into an interactive piece of software, it becomes something even more special. I played Rayman Origins years ago, and marveled at both the music and art direction in the title, so it was only a matter of time until I was able to pick up its predecessor, Rayman Legends. I expected a great platformer with creative ways to play and excellent animations fueled by superb artwork. What I didnt expect were the amazing musical levels found at the end of each world."

Dragon Age Inquisition Review: BioWare Is Back On Track

Added: 30.11.2014 20:42 | 9 views | 0 comments

BioWare learned its lesson from Dragon Age 2. They make this point as early as Dragon Age: Inquisition's character creation. Your choices are no longer limited to male Hawke or female Hawke. You can become a human, elf, dwarf, or qunari and then tweak every little physical detail of this hero. The custom introduction missions of Dragon Age: Origins haven't returned but BioWare's bringing the series back to its original vision of player-driven fantasy adventures.

Dragon Age: Inquisition freecam mod allows for some truly gorgeous screenshots

Added: 30.11.2014 6:11 | 4 views | 0 comments

Over the weekend, Gamer Headlines reported on a recent Dragon Age: Inquisition mod (technically a hack via CheatEngine table) that allowed for total freecam control of the camera, allowing PC gamers to play the game from a perspective akin to Dragon Age: Origins isometric/tactical view. While that is perfectly fine and dandy, it appears that some more artistically inclined Dragon Age: Inquisition players are utilizing the aforementioned freecam mod to capture some truly captivating screenshots of the game. In particular, a reddit and Flickr user by the name of Berduu has employed the aforementioned Dragon Age: Inquisition mod in his game and taken some gorgeous screen captures from the game. Honestly, it's tough to shake the fact that they were taken directly in-game seeing as they look more like concept art or paintings.
