OPM: Conferences, announcements, endless QAs on the run-up to PS4s November 29th release date theres already been a lot said and misheard about PS4, and sometimes the most important messages can be lost in the noise. For your ears only, weve dug out the quotes we think will come to define the next decade of PlayStation.
GenGAME writes: "Sonys touting PlayStation 4 pre-orders as being breathtakingly high, with 1 million consoles currently pre-ordered worldwide. Theyre also saying that pre-orders are currently set at 'way over and above and beyond the pre-order number at launch day.' Dont believe them.
"PlayStation 3 hit one million pre-orders, too, despite the system being delayed in Europe its biggest market and one theyre putting higher priority on for PS4s launch into March 2007."
Ready and waiting when you get home with your PS4.
The inclusion had been rumoured for several months.
The Playroom has been used by Sony to demonstrate how the PS4's camera can interact with the DualShock 4, the touch-pad and speaker. Demos include a touch and motion controlled version of Pong and augmented reality robots.
The only issue with packing-in The Playroom is that it relies quite heavily on the PlayStation Camera – itself not included as standard with the PS4.
OPM: Stealth games havent really changed since Snake first climbed out of the water way back on PS1. There are walls. You hide behind them. Strangle people. You know the drill. However, PS4s heaving feature-set could completely shake up the way we sneak, snipe and sleuth forever.

"With gamescom 2013 just days away, rumors and speculation is rife, with everyone eager to know what Sony has up their sleeves at the last major western event before the PS4s launch. With that, the Daily Reaction crew of Seb and Dan break down what Sony could be bringing to the show in an in-depth guide to gamescom." - PSLS
At E3 2013, Sony came out swinging with a surprisingly impressive press conference. Interestingly, it wasnt game announcements that made the presser what it was (after all, the only new game of real consequence shown was The Order: 1886). What made it remarkable were the ancillary announcements such as PS4s $400 price point and how unabashedly the monolithic Japanese company took direct aim at its primary competitor.
But thats old news, and now Sony has to figure out a way to follow all of that up. Since Sonys press conference in Cologne, Germany is right around the corner with IGN in attendance IGN figured It would take five guesses as to what Sony has up its sleeve.
