If theres one thing that fans are hoping will save the PS Vita its not its own games, but the way it connects to the PlayStation 4. Remote Play is not a new feature for Sony, and has existed since the early days of the PSP and PlayStation 3, but its never really worked very well not least because the PSPs controls are very different to a DualShock, with only one analogue slider.

If this atmospheric puzzler is any indication of what PS4s indie-future looks like, then Sonys slogan Greatness Awaits may truly live up to its claim. While the venture through this bizarre and beautiful world is brief, its an experience that lingers long after the credits roll. It may not be the best technical representation of Sonys new hardware, but its breathtaking aesthetics, fascinating narrative, and exciting puzzles elegantly mask the occasional framerate dips and odd platforming segments.
