Ready for games, partying, booze and any combination of the three, you bet things got fun/crazy this past weekend. This week's Pixelitis Podcast was Recorded on the second night of the show in a swanky room at the Omni Parker House. As such, drinks were flowing and discussion of some of the show's games was had. Podcast regulars Andrew Martins and Patrick Kulikowski joined up with Karen Rivera and Lowell Bell for the roughly hour and a half discussion on PAX East as a whole, as well as games like Transistor and Super Time Force. After much hype, rumor and speculation God of War movie has been officially confirmed. Universal Studios has handed over the task of writing a brand new script for God of War movie to none other than SAW series scribes Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan. The duo has written Saw IV, Saw V, Saw VI, and Saw 3D. Well that is all we know right now about the movie. No details yet as to who will play the role of our beloved KRATOS in the movie. No doubt Kratos should be played by a right sort of actor in order to live up to the expectation of huge fan base. Investment from Bullfrog Productions founder will allow Stainless Games to bring Reincarnation also to next-gen platforms.

"We are delighted to have fully funded Carmageddon: Reincarnation without having to go outside of the collective of our own company, shareholders, and fans," Stainless Games CEO Patrick Buckland said in a statement. "It allows us to maintain a true independence and creative control whilst not having to compromise quality or content by budgetary constraints."

Carmageddon: Reincarnation is currently scheduled to launch in December 2013, though it is not clear if development for next-gen platforms will see that release window pushed back.

Stainless Games released an iOS version of the original Carmageddon last year, while an Android version is in the works.
