Club Nintendo has commenced a major sale as the loyalty program enters its final months, with discounts on games and apparel.

Deals on offer include a Retro Mario T-Shirt (700 coins), Mario and Luigi Greeting Cards (300 coins), a 3DS Game Case that holds 18 games (400 coins), a 2016 Desktop Calendar (400 coins), along with a Super Mario Bros. 3 Poster Set (700 coins).

Physical items are said to be in limited stock, though Nintendo is also offering a diverse range of digital games too.

Bayonetta​ developer Platinum Games has just released an 8-bit browser-based game that stars the one and only gun-wielding heroine herself.

It's not the deepest game in the world, but it's a fun little time-waster if you're looking for something to keep you entertained for an hour or two. To try it yourself, head over to the Platinum Games website right here.

During today's Taipei Game Show 2015 livestream, a teaser for what appears to be a sequel to Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance was revealed.

Flashing on the screen was a giant "2" in the same iconic font that was featured on the cover art for the first title.

Aside from the fact that we know both developer Platinum Games and Kojima Productions were interested in making a follow-up, this supposed sequel remains shrouded in mystery. The only other important thing to note is that a PS4 logo appeared alongside the "2."
