Games that should have had sequels (Part 3)

Added: 29.08.2015 1:18 | 4 views | 0 comments

Chalgyr's Game Room writes: Over the last couple of days, we have had a couple of the members of the team submit their list of games that they wish had gotten sequels. To cap off the week, I thought I would go ahead and share my own list of titles that I really would have liked to see live on just a bit longer. Heavenly Sword This was one of my first PlayStation 3 games when I purchased my system, and I absolutely loved it. Was the game flawed? Certainly, but it was also a lot of fun. The visuals were excellent, the combat was engaging. Sure, it felt like a God of War clone, but a lot of other titles have tried to mimic the popular God of War series and few of them did it as well as Heavenly Sword did. Add in a handful of extras and an excellent voice cast, and this was one that I always hoped we would see a sequel to, but never received.

Announcement About Old Gen Editions of Mortal Kombat X

Added: 28.08.2015 23:18 | 35 views | 0 comments

"After months of development, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has come to the regrettable conclusion that we cannot release Mortal Kombat X for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Please know our teams worked diligently to meet the quality standards set by the current-gen versions of the game. We were not able to get the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions to the quality expected of a Mortal Kombat game and are very sorry for not being able to deliver the products as originally planned. If you pre-ordered Mortal Kombat X for PS3 or Xbox 360, please go to the retail location where you pre-ordered the game and you will receive a full refund."

Our Most Anticipated PlayStation Games of Holiday 2015

Added: 28.08.2015 22:18 | 20 views | 0 comments

Push Square: "Madden NFL 16 is out, which means that the holiday rush is upon us. As such, we thought that it would be fun to collate our most anticipated titles from the coming months in one place. There was one rule, however no one was allowed to include a title releasing prior to 7th September. Why? Because we didn't want a list that consisted of little other than current hotness Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Everyone just picked Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection instead."
