Mini Metro challenges you to provide subway services for a rapidly growing city There are two reasons I want to write about Mini Metro. Firstly, it hasn't yet graced the online pages of PG before. Secondly, I wanted to type the name of the company making it...Dinosaur Polo Club. That's better. Mini Metro is a minimalistic subway management game. That may not sound very exciting but, trust me, this is a slick little game worth keeping a beady eye on. You're constan...

Post Arcade (National Post) | Destiny Review

Added: 14.09.2014 11:12 | 2 views | 0 comments

When Bungie, the developers of Destiny, said the game would be the next big thing, they meant they were taking the bits they loved from other games and slammed them together into one big pulsing mass. Along the way, they made some odd and sometimes baffling choices. However, all of these choices very much seem deliberate and this strange amalgamation is exactly the game Bungie wanted to make.

Why the New 3DS is not the handheld we need

Added: 14.09.2014 9:12 | 3 views | 0 comments

Heather from Save/Continue discusses her apprehensions and problems with the upcoming 3DS. She says, "Poor clarity is going to affect their relationship with the community; when a person doesnt understand why they have to shell out their hard earned cash, they simply will not. The New 3DS is likely to do the same, making people invest in a glorified upgrade for bespoke games which might or might not need the newer hardware just to be slightly more sparkly."

Goofs and Guitars: Boo Bunny Plague Review | Hey Poor Player

Added: 13.09.2014 8:12 | 16 views | 0 comments

Boo Bunny Plague presents with an astounding amount of promise but it delivers on nothing except its humor. Its boring, its bland, it looks awful, and it has some of the worst hit detection Ive ever seen in an action game. Its also extraordinarily short, at only 3 hours. Again, I get that its $5, but I almost feel that its not even worth that.

Two popular Hearthstone cards to be nerfed in upcoming balance patch

Added: 12.09.2014 13:12 | 40 views | 0 comments

Poor old Leeroy Jenkins, everyone's favourite overeager Paladin, is getting nerfed in an upcoming Hearthstone balance patch, along with the slightly less famous Starving Buzzard card. The Jenkins card was, according to Blizzard, capable of causing "20+ damage in one turn" when used with the correct combination of other cards. That might be hilarious when you're the one doing the damage, but Blizzard are probably right when they say it's "not particularly fun or interactive".

Added: 12.09.2014 0:12 | 8 views | 0 comments

Greg Micek writes: "We've discussed Paradigm a few times here on Cliqist, but in case you've missed it... Paradigm is a post apocalyptic adventure game with a 70's / 80's Eastern Bloc vibe. The main character, Paradigm, is just a simple mutant trying to make his way in an absurd world full of comedy, disgusting characters, and an evil sloth. Check out our hands on preview for fo, and then give our interview with Paradigm's developer, Jacob Janerka, a read!"

NHL 15 Review | Hardcore Gamer

Added: 09.09.2014 19:12 | 4 views | 0 comments

Hardcore Gamer: "Poor hockey. Last year, all of EAs yearly sports titles were on current-gen systems except NHL 14. Not only was this further proof of its third fiddle status in EA Sports roster, but was also a crime as it was one of the best entries in the long-running series. A year later, the franchise is finally debuting on current generation consoles, but is unfortunately facing an uphill battle. Although NHL 15 has been overhauled graphically, its stripped of several features and releasing the same day as Destiny."
