Poor Microsoft. TechnoBuffalo really thought Microsoft had done everything right this year to bring home the gold. Microsoft announced a new franchise from the creator of Mega Man. Microsoft even had that mind-melting Hololens demonstration, which is admittedly the coolest thing weve still seen over the last two days. Crystal Dynamics took the stage during Microsoft's E3 media briefing today to showcase a first look at the gameplay of Rise of the Tomb Raider.

In it we see Lara Croft brave the elements as she does a bit of treacherous ice climbing. As you'd expect, it looks abosolutely gorgeous and is incredibly intense. Poor Lara does take quite a beating, though.
