Trine 3 hits home and does its predecessors proud. Its a simple puzzle solving game but with a little charm and humor thrown in. The challenges are well balanced to feel difficult, but clear in their goal.

One would imagine that such a change would completely alter how the game plays, and yet its effects are surprisingly light. There might be an added dimension, but it doesnt feel like theres been a new dimension added to the gameplay. Trine 3 is the most beautiful game in the franchise to date, only boosted by the 3D allowing for impressive vistas, and yet its also less impressive than its predacessor."

Metro: The popular action puzzler moves into 3D, with incredible graphics and some great co-op options but at what cost? Trine 3 was only released on Thursday and already its in deep trouble. Word of mouth travels quickly on Steam and fans eagerly awaiting the new game were dismayed to find out that it was not only extremely short but ended on an unsatisfying cliffhanger. To their credit developer Frozenbyte has put their hands up to the problem, and said that they simply didnt have the money to make the game they originally envisaged.
