The PS3 version is even worse than the nearly three year old X360 version. Deadly Premonition is like a steak. The meat, like the plot, basically has good quality. Unfortunately, the developer has forgotten to throw the meat on the grill and let it go rather bum in front of him. Thus, you get served a raw steak that has exceeded its expiration date by quite a while.

Deadly Premonition Directors Cut is a game that is out of its mind. It makes up its own rules, puts on many different hats, and goes from freaking you out one moment to making you hold your sides in laughter the next.

Despite its technical shortcomings, the depth and charm of Greenvales residents and the rollercoaster ride of emotions throughout Yorks investigation is nothing short of amazing. Francis York Morgan may be the protagonist, but during your stay in Greenvale its hard not to grow attached to every resident you meet.
