SPC writes, "We have a brand-new list for you to peruse. Yesterday we posted a top ten talking about the Nintendo 3DS's best games from its second year on the market. Let's continue our 3DS theme with another list. A good number of Nintendo DS games have already seen sequels arrive on Nintendo's newest handheld hardware. However, there are still a slew of titles that have been cast to the wayside and have been overlooked for new games on the 3DS. This list is comprised of such titles. From Super Princess Peach to Elite Beat Agents, there are some interesting things that could be done to bring some DS favorites to the 3DS."

Five Things Zelda Wii U Should Borrow From Twilight Princess

Added: 04.04.2013 9:18 | 8 views | 0 comments

GenGAME writes: "Do you remember the moment when The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess was first announced at E3 2004? Theres a reason why the game elicited so much cheering and applause for many, it represented a return to form for the series after The Wind Wakers experimental art style and world. Bearing this in mind, the next Zelda game for a home console Zelda Wii U could represent a similar shift, away from the experimental direction of Skyward Sword and back to core conventions."

The Building Blocks of Twilight Princess

Added: 04.04.2013 4:18 | 3 views | 0 comments

Zelda Informer: "Ask a veteran Zelda fan what game Twilight Princess most reminds them of, and youll likely be told that its very similar to Ocarina of Time. Others may go back a little further, and say that its basically an updated A Link to the Past with a few twists thrown in. Almost all would agree that these two games were the main inspiration for Twilight Princess and the formula around which it was built. While both were obviously a heavy influence to Twilight Princess, is it possible that another game helped shape it even more?"

Why is feminism in games such a touchy subject?

Added: 31.03.2013 15:19 | 1 views | 0 comments

Kevin of Xboxer360 writes, "I find feminism really interesting, especially in the history of media. Its interesting to look back over the last few decades of film for example, and see how the depictions of women have changed over time. The same can be said of many different sects, such as race, age and sexuality (I just finished writing my dissertation on elderly women in the media, which had me looking at such patterns). But for some reason, when the issue of feminism is brought up in the gaming community, people cry foul, sometimes in extremely offensive ways, just see the treatment of Anita Sarkeesian as proof. People seem fine slapping Twilight about for having a horrible representation of women and setting the image of women back 50 years, but when someone mentions the Princess is in another castle trope, armies are rallied. Why is that?"
