Review: Dededes Drum Dash Deluxe Kirby Fighters Deluxe (Pure Nintendo)

Added: 24.09.2014 7:12 | 3 views | 0 comments

Pure Nintendo: "Both Drum Dash and Fighters were good games as individual eShop releases. I think that the price, which is $6.99 for each title, might be a little steep for Drum Dash but adequate for the small but still quite expansive Kirby fighting game. I enjoy seeing Nintendo taking small portions of games, like Drum Dash and Fighters, and turning them into their own releases. I think that Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker may end up being a better example of this but these two small Kirby releases are good games and may find an audience among those who dont own Triple Deluxe, like myself."

Review: The Fall (Pure Nintendo)

Added: 24.09.2014 5:12 | 13 views | 0 comments

Pure Nintendo: "Overall The Fall is a fantastic experience. My hope is that Over the Moon Games fixes the freezing/stuttering issue soon which could improve the game experience by leaps and bounds. Unfortunately the difficulty of the puzzles is a completely different issue altogether and cant be simply patched but that is easily overcome with some help via Miiverse. With a To be continued at the end of the game it is safe to say that we have not seen the end of The Fall but rather just a portion of the entire experience. Having enjoyed this first episode I look forward to what Over the Moon Games has in store for Wii U owners in the future. Anyone who is looking for a great sci-fi game or even just a good puzzle/adventure game should check out The Fall."

Review: Teslagrad (Pure Nintendo)

Added: 24.09.2014 5:12 | 6 views | 0 comments

Pure Nintendo: "Teslagrad is a fun game and more challenging than I expected. You may figure out some of the puzzles fairly quick, but you will probably die a lot too trying to complete them, especially when fighting a boss. For a puzzle/platformer, Teslagrad does a great job keeping the game interesting and fresh as you experience the adventure. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys this type of game, especially old school gamers like myself."

Sunset Overdrive Preview: Xbox One Exclusive Puts Fun First | IBTimes UK

Added: 22.09.2014 15:12 | 5 views | 0 comments

Fun runs through everything in Sunset Overdrive. Every moment, every mechanic, every character and bit of scenery is designed to first and foremost be about establishing a fun factor developers Insomniac Games hope will set their Xbox One exclusive apart from the sequels and remasters of this year's release schedule. Their relentless pursuit of entertainment value above all else is noble one in an industry often accused of being po-faced and bereft of self-awareness, but at the same time Sunset Overdrive runs the risk of being all vibrancy and knowing winks at the cost of sufficient gameplay depth.

Review: Frederic Resurrection of Music (Pure Nintendo)

Added: 22.09.2014 8:12 | 15 views | 0 comments

Pure Nintendo: "I think Frederic Ressuresction of Music is a good bargin for the $6 the eshop is asking but the developers at Forever Entertainment really need to fix some of these issues. If you can ignore some of the little things and get really good at tapping those piano keys I think youll get a good amount of enjoyment out of this game, probably exactly $5 worth of enjoyment in my opinion. So hopefully theyll knock off that extra pesky dollar soon or start patching up this game. We need a new fun music game to play these days especially one including classical music and a story that really makes you think. But sadly I doubt this one will hit its mark, or note in this case."

Review: Thorium Wars: Attack of the Skyfighter (Pure Nintendo)

Added: 22.09.2014 6:12 | 8 views | 0 comments

Pure Nintendo: "Overall I did enjoy Attack of the Skyfighter, but I cant help but feel it couldve been more. I wish there was bit more plot development, a couple more missions, and perhaps some AI tweaks. Nevertheless the game does offer plenty that I can commend. If youre looking for fun aerial combat, silky smooth flying, and high replay value, definitely consider putting Thorium Wars: Attack of the Skyfighter in your sights."

Review: Squids Odyssey (Pure Nintendo)

Added: 22.09.2014 6:12 | 7 views | 0 comments

Pure Nintendo: "I would happily recommend this title as a cute little game with surprising depth that should keep you occupied for quite some time. There are many levels to work through, with plenty of reason to replay and complete everything properly. The story is innocent enough to be kid-friendly, yet should satisfy most adults too who are looking for something different in the tactical RPG genre. The added bonus (at least in Europe) is that downloading the 3DS version entitles you to download the Wii U version for free a first for the Nintendo eShop so if youre going to take advantage of either one, go for the 3DS version first the deal doesnt work the other way around."

Review: Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (Pure Nintendo)

Added: 22.09.2014 6:12 | 7 views | 0 comments

Pure Nintendo: "If you can get into the story, youll certainly enjoy Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. Its a quality title, with several enjoyable elements. It has a lot of content (took me 25 hours or so to finish) some nice bonuses, and free DLC set to arrive. I cant say its an improvement over solo outings however. Perhaps a follow up from LEVEL-5 and Capcom can elevate this pairing to even greater heights, but their entertaining debut is sure to find a sizeable audience nonetheless."
