Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment (Vita) Review - Push Square

Added: 30.08.2014 19:12 | 9 views | 0 comments

Push Square: "Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment is let down by its desire to stick too closely to its source material. In attempting to recreate the fictional game at the heart of the animated series, it fails to really deliver on its own merits. Though a lot of the gameplay is forgettable, fans of the anime will certainly find fun in reliving elements of the television show. If youre not already familiar with the series, though, there are better RPGs on the Vita to consume your time."

Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair (Vita) Review - Push Square

Added: 30.08.2014 15:12 | 10 views | 0 comments

Push Square: "Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair is a superb sequel that successfully builds upon its predecessor's already addictive formula. By introducing a totally different setting and a host of new systems, it's able to keep proceedings feeling both fresh and familiarly engaging. If you haven't dipped into the first game, you're better off starting there, but play both titles in sequence, and you'll experience what is possibly the most gripping tale to grace Sony's portable device."

ChristCenteredGamer Pure Pool review

Added: 30.08.2014 14:12 | 4 views | 0 comments

There are many game modes and to do well in the career mode you'll have to master all of them. Eight ball is where the players take sides and pocket all of their colored or striped balls. In the nine ball game you must pocket the balls in ascending order. We were able to win our first nine ball game by pocketing the nine ball after my assigned ball. In the killer game mode, each player starts off with three lives and loses one with each turn that doesn't pocket a ball. Whoever loses all of their lives first loses the game. Accumulator is very similar to nine ball where you have to take down each ball in ascending order, but points are earned depending on the balls value. If the wrong ball is pocketed, the opponent gets the points. Whoever has the most points at the end, wins.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare (PS4) Review - Push Square

Added: 30.08.2014 14:12 | 7 views | 0 comments

Push Square: "Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare stays true to its roots, while at the same time branching out to new audiences by switching up the franchises familiar format a little. The gameplay is rock solid, the music and visuals are adorable, and, while the releases multiplayer focus wont appeal to everyone, its a finely pruned package overall. PopCap deserves credit for taking an existing concept, and making it blossom all over again."

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 (Vita) Review - Push Square

Added: 30.08.2014 13:12 | 14 views | 0 comments

Push Square: "Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 is a light hearted RPG that allows you to shut down your brain, without ever losing its challenge. This makes it an excellent entry point for genre or series newcomers, as even though its based upon an older game, its been completely overhauled to feel modern and fresh. While the plot itself may make you ponder whether the Goddesses care more about pudding than the people that they are meant to be saving, its silly enough to keep you entertained. And if youre fascinated by the idea of system warriors uniting to save an interesting interpretation of the games industry, then this is one console war worth getting involved in."

GTA V Puts InFamous: Second Son To Shame

Added: 29.08.2014 14:18 | 0 views | 0 comments

When GTA V was first announced, Rockstar shied away from mentioning a potential release on the new consoles, instead saying the game would feel next-gen. Back then, it felt like marketing spiel. It turns out it wasnt almost a year on, GTA V is still the most technically impressive open-world game . Even without the upcoming remaster, GTA V puts InFamous: Second Son - the most advanced open-world game on the new generation consoles to shame. How many PlayStation 4 games have you seen where the characters flip-flops actually flop, its characters visibly sweat when theyre running, and hair grows over time? InFamous: Second Son, beyond the glitz of the rain-soaked streets and the dazzling particle effects, doesnt do anything new. Theres more to a new generation than extra stuff happening on the screen and better reflections. A new generation should bring new experiences, new features. Yet InFamous is missing features weve come to expect from open-world games over the last...

inFAMOUS: First Light (PS4) Review - Push Square

Added: 26.08.2014 20:12 | 112 views | 0 comments

Push Square: "inFAMOUS: First Light is never going to set the world alight, but if youve been gagging for more of Sucker Punchs superhero series, then it will fill that hole until a full sequel charges onto store shelves. Fetchs fast-paced take on the neon power set makes her an entertaining protagonist to play as especially in the frantic Battle Arenas. In many ways, this represents the brand stripped back to its very basics and youll need to decide whether thats enough for you."

My Heart Breaks Because You Aren't Playing Puyo Puyo Tetris Too

Added: 26.08.2014 7:13 | 4 views | 0 comments

CCC Says: "My heart aches. My soul cries. It isn't for myself, though. No, I haven't fallen victim to a wretched fate. The pain I feel is for all of you. Because I, my friends, have been saved. I now know the satisfaction that comes from experiencing Puyo Puyo Tetris in all its glory, thanks to the benevolence of a friend who recently visited Japan. Yet, this jubilation is tainted by the fact that so few others know the pleasure that I have experienced."
