RIDE (PlayStation 4) Review - Push Square

Added: 28.03.2015 20:18 | 2 views | 0 comments

Push Square: "RIDE's adequate in almost all areas, but it's never going to offer the ride of your life. There's a clear passion for motorcycles on display here, and petrol heads will appreciate the depth of the tinkering that's on offer but the on-track experience is far too clinical to confidently capture the pastime that the developer is so enthusiastic about. If you want to build up a stable of obsessively rendered motorcycles, each tuned to your exacting tastes, then this may get your internal engine roaring for a while but everyone else will find a competently made racing game that, beneath all of the gusto of its creepy announcer, never really hits top gear."

Game of Thrones: Episode 3 - The Sword in the Darkness (PlayStation 4) Review - Push Square

Added: 28.03.2015 19:18 | 4 views | 0 comments

Push Square: "Now that we've made it to the halfway point of Telltale's Game of Thrones series, it's really looking like it's going to continue improving as the season wears on. Through three episodes, the developer has shown that it's more than up to the task of delivering a story worth residing in George R.R. Martin's world, and this latest episode is a shining example of where things could be heading moving forwards."

Life Is Strange: Episode 2 - Out of Time (PlayStation 4) Review - Push Square

Added: 28.03.2015 19:18 | 0 views | 0 comments

Push Square: "Life Is Strange: Episode 2 Out of Time has an excellent ending, but it's letdown by pacing issues that make the events leading up to that point feel inconsequential. There are a lot of interesting and engaging elements working in this release's favour, but it's yet to really pull them all together in a fulfilling manner. In some ways, this is an improvement the dialogue's better for a start but it really needs to step up soon. To use a tired baseball analogy, it's had two strikes now one more and it's out."

Toukiden: Kiwami (PlayStation Vita) Review - Push Square

Added: 28.03.2015 19:18 | 2 views | 0 comments

Push Square: "Toukiden: Kiwami is the definitive monster slaying simulator on Vita its structure an ideal fit for portable gaming. A great new storyline, some thoughtful gameplay tweaks, and the ability to carry over your save data from Toukiden: The Age of Demons makes it a must buy for fans, but even interested newcomers should take the opportunity test their skills as a slayer, as this is the perfect place to start."

Round Up: Your Ultimate Guide to PS4 Firmware Update 2.50

Added: 27.03.2015 14:18 | 10 views | 0 comments

Push Square: "This has been a much calmer PlayStation 4 firmware update day than those that have come before; that leaked beta test must have helped. While it's possible that issues may yet crop up, PS4 firmware update v2.50 has rolled out flawlessly thus far well, as long as you're able to overlook that God awful PlayStation Store icon that's in the wrong ruddy place. We've actually been quite impressed with some of the new features; Suspend/Resume and 60 frames-per-second Remote Play are two welcome additions as far as we're concerned. But just in case you've missed anything, or need some help getting the best out of the system software overhaul, we've compiled all of our coverage in one place. Yes, we are milking it, but it could be worse after all, we haven't gone full on Buzzfeed. Yet."

Mastering Bloodborne's Brutal Basics on PS4

Added: 25.03.2015 22:18 | 1 views | 0 comments

Push Square: "There's a good chance that you've been looking at this week's Bloodborne coverage through worried eyes. From Software's latest foray is a critical darling, there's no doubt about that but despite it being praised as the first must-own PlayStation 4 exclusive, the developer has a terrifying track record. Indeed, this may not be a 'Souls' game by name, but it's very much a spiritual successor to the likes of Demon's Souls and Dark Souls and that may have you conflicted about whether it's for you."
