Destiny: The Dark Below (PlayStation 4) Review - Push Square

Added: 19.12.2014 19:11 | 1 views | 0 comments

Push Square: "On a fundamental level, The Dark Below fails to justify its expensive price point for anyone who isn't a hardcore Destiny fan. While the story missions are enjoyable and the Strikes are some of the best, there just isn't enough new content here to reinvigorate Bungie's project for more than a few hours at most."

Secret Ponchos (PlayStation 4) Review - Push Square

Added: 18.12.2014 4:11 | 1 views | 0 comments

Push Square: "Secret Ponchos feels like a glimpse of what could go on to be a great game. Its comic book art style looks good, and the actual game plays well but the slim roster of characters and stages mean that youll quickly burn through whats on offer. With only alternative costumes available to buy at launch, the hope is that more content will be added further down the line. For now, though, unless youre already a PlayStation Plus subscriber, youre better off hanging up your six shooters."

10 PlayStation Gifts That Need to Be on Your Christmas List

Added: 17.12.2014 2:11 | 3 views | 0 comments

Push Square: "We were going to produce a bog-standard buyers guide this Christmas, but we figured that wed be re-treading old ground. After all, you can peruse what we think is hot on PlayStation courtesy of our nifty games page, and chances are you already have an idea what software youd like Santa to lug down your chimney anyway. Instead, we figured that wed change our approach, and walk you through some of the stranger Sony gift ideas vying for your hard earned cash this holiday. With the Japanese giant recognising that theres real money to be made from licensed merchandise, here are some goods that wed be surprised/horrified to find in our stocking on the 25th December."

Added: 16.12.2014 23:11 | 1 views | 0 comments

With the rocky launch of Driveclub some ominously predicted the end of Evolution Studios, with some even hoping for Sony to punish the Runcorn-based developer for the mistakes made on its latest racing games by closing the studio. Looks like, thankfully, that isnt in the cards, as the studio has just gone on a hiring spree with quite ambitious purposes.

Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris (PlayStation 4) Review - Push Square

Added: 15.12.2014 17:11 | 8 views | 0 comments

Push Square: "Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is a decent game, especially with friends but itll never surprise you. The basic mechanics work well, but youll struggle to shake off the feeling that they could have been utilised so much more effectively. With no plot and no great rewards, youll be playing just for the sake of getting to the end, which wont be enough to hold everybodys attention through to its premature conclusion."

Destiny's Progression System Is Destroying the Game from the Inside

Added: 14.12.2014 9:14 | 1 views | 0 comments

Push Square: "Despite launching only about three months ago, it feels like we've been discussing Destiny for an eternity. Bungie's sci-fi shooter divided opinion from the word go, and, whether it's because of heightened expectations or general trust in a proven developer, we're still ranting and raving about what's right and what's wrong with the blockbuster."
