Review: Castle Conqueror EX (Pure Nintendo)

Added: 20.11.2014 22:11 | 8 views | 0 comments

Pure Nintendo: "There are many Castle Conqueror games that you can download on 3DS. Perhaps one of them would be a superior choice. The reworked AI issues present in EX are indeed huge, but admittedly for some they might not factor as much. Even if they can be tolerated though, should we really be forced to put up with such designs? Fans of the series will still want this game, but newcomers may want to grab another Castle Conqueror title to start with, or wait for a sale."

Review: Cosmophony (Pure Nintendo)

Added: 20.11.2014 22:11 | 2 views | 0 comments

Pure Nintendo: "The art style is simple, and blends well with the music and the overall theme of the game. The games music, one of its focal points, is energetic but becomes increasingly annoying more after each failure. The beats are useful when recognizing when to move or shoot, but they can only get you so far in these levels. If you have an interest in this sort of game, or you want something to pass around between friends, then Cosmophony might intrigue you. Otherwise, you wont miss out on much by not picking up this title.."

Pure Pool - Xbox One Review | Chalgyr's Game Room

Added: 20.11.2014 19:11 | 2 views | 0 comments

Chalgyr's Game Room writes: I have been a big proponent of pool or billiards since I was about 8 or 9 years old as a close friend from down the road had a pool table in their basement. Her and I would hang out for hours after school or on the weekends playing pool, or in the early days, whipping the different balls around the table. It was not until we hit 12 or 13 that we started really playing pool the way it was meant to be played and even to this day her and I can meet up at some dive that has a pool table and just play for hours at a time. It is, outside of video games, one of my passions that I have kept up over then last 20 years. There is something about the felt that covers the table, the beaten pleather pockets, and the scuffed up rack that simply pulls me back to those good ol' days of just being a kid hanging out with friends from around the neighborhood.

Push Square: "What good is life if you havent got a tennis court in your back garden and a fleet of sports cars stored in your garage? Money is what makes the world go around, and while its not exactly easy to earn stacks of it in real life, there are no pesky laws in Los Santos well, none that you need to abide by anyway. While its best known for its gratuitous violence and bad language, willing participants can get an education in economics in Grand Theft Auto V and were here to tell you how to play the stock market to boost your bank balance in Rockstar Games hotly anticipated PlayStation 4 re-release."

Far Cry 4 (PlayStation 4) Review - Push Square

Added: 19.11.2014 15:11 | 4 views | 0 comments

Push Square: "While Far Cry 4 doesnt feel like a major upgrade over its predecessor except on the graphical front the series still manages to retain its crown as the finest open world first-person shooter. The introduction of player choice to the narrative is great, but the lack of an interesting story makes this addition feel like a step forward followed by a step back. Its fortunate, then, that the game's negatives are eclipsed by its sublime sandbox gameplay."

Assassin's Creed Rogue (PS3) Review - Push Square

Added: 17.11.2014 22:15 | 9 views | 0 comments

Push Square: "Assassins Creed Rogue isnt really a Black Flag sequel, but nor is it Ubisoft cashing in on PS3 owners. It feels more like a really expansive piece of DLC thats loaded with things to look at and places to go while acting as a solid continuation of a successful story. Its unashamedly unwelcoming to newcomers and will probably only appeal to people that care about the lore of the Assassins Creed universe. For those less interested in the Templar, Precursor malarkey, then, Rogue can just as easily be regarded as Assassins Creed IV: Snow Edition."
