Review: Alien: Isolation | Push Square

Added: 06.10.2014 7:12 | 1 views | 0 comments

Padding is Alien: Isolations unfortunate undoing, as there are a few too many recycled moments throughout the course of its seemingly never-ending single player campaign. Still, when its on form, this is a nail biting affair, as you use sound and cunningly constructed items in order outwit your incredibly intelligent enemies. Outstanding audio and impressive art work make this more than just another bug hunt but youll be rolling your eyes rather than flinching in fear at points during the outer-space escapade.

Before I begin this preview of Lords of the Fallen I feel its important to point out that the demo booth I was playing was frequently glitching. I waited 5 minutes for the game to load and found my character running where I wasnt telling him to go and there were numerous camera blips.

When we arrived at EGX, my first point of call was the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare stand, as you know that will get busy and hectic very quickly. After my wait I got to sit down to play two matches, each with a different mode and a map to try out.

Review: Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution | Push Start

Added: 03.10.2014 19:17 | 5 views | 0 comments

The Naruto games have had an interesting life compared to its seemingly consistent predecessor, the anime. It started out as an adventure fighter with a variety of ways to explore the ninja world around you, leaping from trees and diving at high speed during minigames to get from point A to point B but, eventually, the game found its own calling somewhat with a story-based, fighting game style.

First Impressions: Squeezing the Cheeks of LittleBigPlanet 3 on PS4 - Push Square

Added: 03.10.2014 15:12 | 5 views | 0 comments

Push Square: "Like a cuddly toy thats slipped down the side of a forgetful infants bed, theres a sense that LittleBigPlanet 3 is getting overlooked. Caught among the onslaught of holiday releases, Sackboy and his band of burlap buddies have failed to catch the interest of the robotic hordes fawning over annualised outings such as Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Assassins Creed Unity. Thats a shame, because after some brief hands-on time with the sequel, we came away with the impression that developer Sumo Digitals knitting something special and its the new characters that are undeniably the stars of the show."

PlayStation Home May Live on the PlayStation 4 Yet

Added: 03.10.2014 11:12 | 3 views | 0 comments

Push Square: "PlayStation Home is being boarded up. Sony announced late last week that it will be evicting residents from its ambitious virtual world, and dismantling the servers like an old block flats. For many of us, its an opportunity to point and laugh at the services protracted lifespan but this move is going to negatively impact many smaller developers that made money from the online establishment."

14GB Will Be Enough to Contain the Cuteness of PS4 Title LittleBigPlanet 3

Added: 03.10.2014 7:12 | 7 views | 0 comments

Push Square: "A little like DriveClub, the upcoming LittleBigPlanet 3 is one of those titles that we want nestling on our PlayStation 4s hard drive. Sonys exclusive lineup this year seems built around pickup and play experiences that will have long legs, and Sackboys latest errand looks particularly likely to evolve over time if its anything like its PlayStation 3 siblings."
